.. so i hit my brother's car the other day messing up his bumper..
i checked the dealership for a price but they say its $250 for a new bumper and extra to paint it. I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get a better price because i do not have that type of money to spend.. bills suck

You should try looking for a scrap-yard. There is actually some pretty good stuff you could find there, not just junk. Or you can go on eBay. Or Ask Jeeves.

yeah i know a guy. but you woud have to take your car to the central parts of sweden so it would probably cost you a lot in shipping the car over.
check a round whit people in your home town. there is always someone thats have a "guy" that can fix it for a cheap price

Just apologise with nice, cheap, words.

But yeah, blipblop's right, it'd be more fruitful to ask locally, good luck.

it also depends on how bad it is damaged when i broke my bumper it was just a small weld and some primer and silver spray paint to get it back on the road
$80 for the welding and $25 for the paint and sand paper was what i paid for 2 bumpers

Exactly. Except it would be in Finland.

scrap-yards are your friend. I never go to a dealership becuse they are so ridiculous with pricing. Hell, ebay, ive found bumpers and car parts primered and ready for paint. just check their feedback to make sure they are low-quality parts

well, does your brother know about this? I would go to a scrap-yard and try to find a replacement for it. I damaged my car recently too, and got a really good deal.

If it's a plastic bumper, the entire bumper has to be replaced, they don't have a way to legally repair a plastic bumper.

Dealerships are usually more expensive for repairs, but too often they are the only guys that can get the correct paint color for the car.

Psh. Who needs bumpers? Just give your brother $250 to spend on something worthwhile, like video games or Twinkies. Mmm. Twinkies.
