Ok Skyrim is now getting multiplayer from a mod.

Right now multiplayer is being modded into Skyrim. So far it is only just starting so it is very barebones with basically just seeing other people but without anything on them. There is chat in it right now. Oh fine I'll quit stalling and put up the link.

Well how do you think this will end? Since the game was made with single player in mind do you think this will be good or bad? Also do you think this will be big news when it's finished considering the amount of people who have been wanting multiplayer in a elder scrolls game for a while? This isn't actually new for an Elderscrolls game. However, I'm not sure if it's usually this fast, though that's not terribly surprising, what with the huge modding community these games now have. It generally looks pretty awkward, just like this currently does.

Well I have no idea how finished those are but the one I posted was literally the very first version so who knows how this will end. I also saw someone who found some unused net code in Fallout New Vegas and managed to get full on multiplayer to work there but it was very buggy. Though I didn't realize that people had managed to get this to work on past games.
