"Okay, that's just silly..."

We've all been there at one time or another. That time in the game where we just have to say, "That's silly." This can be good or bad, but either way, they're usually memorable.

Recount the times you've just had to take a moment and either facepalm or giggle at something that was just plain silly in a game.

I'll start us off with one that a lot of people probably have seen, Call of the Dead. In the zombies map for Call of Duty Black Ops, one of the enemies is a twelve foot tall George Romero wielding a magical electric stage light. He also goes into rage mode when shot and runs like Jesse Jackson with a tiger behind him. Made me stop and gawk a little when I first saw him, that's for sure.

Ah~ Conker's Bad Fur Day. Absolutely hilarious game. Loved every minute of it.

I don't really think it's a "that's just silly moment" but one moment I can remember is from the start of a game called Lost Odyssey. Right after the protagonists survives a meteor crash someone random soldier is all like "How did you survive? Especially in that outfit?" (Soldier is fully armored up and the protagonist is just wearing like bits of armor with what seems to be casual clothes. xD)

This made me go like OMG WHAT?!?! SOMEONE ACTUALLY COMMENTED ON THE FACT THAT MANY RPG CHARACTERS HAVE LITTLE ACTUAL ARMOR!?!?! What madness is this?

Also this entire trailer is absolutely ridiculous and silly in every aspect.

The main problem here is the portrayal of the female character. (Please, this isn't an invitation to make jokes about kitchens or sandwiches.) :3
The voices are hilariously bad "RPG on the roof get out of thereeee" nyehhhh.
Also isn't it a bit strange how the cowboy guy's gun doesn't seem to have any sort of magazine...? or is that normal? I'm not much of a gun expert.

This is probably going to seem oddly specific, but that bit in the ME2 Arrival DLC where Shepard torches a bunch of Batarians with the shuttle jets.

It was just so token, like someone in the planning team had said, "Hey, Shepard isn't being "badass" enough."
"Well, how about some guys getting set on fire for absolutely no reason?"
"Yeah! Awesome idea bro!"

The entire Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series feature "silly" moments every couple of seconds...and that's what I love about them.

Wow, this is the third time I've posted about this series tonight. Strange.
Anywas, I instantly knew that this game was going to suck as soon as the antagonist started talking. It's like they forgot that the appeal of the protagonist partially came from the fact that he was only a few steps away from being as evil as the antagonist, so they tried to make the new antagonist some sort of deep-voiced cousin to Skeletor.
You know you have a really crappy villain when they acknowledge themselves and their doings as evil.
