So, I can't tell...

Uh...

Are they even trying anymore? This honestly sounds like they're putting a gun to their credibility and unloading on it, then putting another clip in and doing it a few several hundred times.

Funnily enough it's been shown that by interspersing pornographic images and an unrelated image can cause the formation of a temporary fetish for that object through Pavlovian conditioning.

So yeah, this website is going to have a pretty hilarious and unintended effect. I think a lot of PETA members are going to get pretty upset.
Intresting brings a whole new meaning to Pavlovs study on dogs and classical conditioning :p

PETA always astounds me as to their ridiculous moves. Serves well for entertainment, not so much for ending animal cruelty.

Listened to a PETA spokesperson the other day talking about the fur industry. Claimed dramatically that "some animals are even skinned alive!"

Yeah great drama sure but completely false. I don't know much about the fur industry, but I'm sure people realise how difficult it is going to be to skin a live struggling animal right? You think someone making a fur coat is going to want to deal with that? Furthermore what possible benefit is there in skinning an animal while it's alive? Holy crap these PETA people just astound me with their stupidity.
You don't know whether it's false..
I for one have seen footage of animals being skinned alive, during the struggle they just get a backhand smack on their heads from time to time when they get too feisty. After the regarded man finally managed to pull all of the skin off, he proceeded to throw the skinless animal on the back of some kind of pickup, on top of a pile of the animals that came before him. They were still moving, albeit slowly, obviously looking like they were in hellish pain.

Yeah, it was hard to watch, and though it hasn't turned me against fur extraction, it did happen.

O.T. Anyway yeah PETA is obviously stupid no point in even discussing their actions. Even those feminists shouldn't bother.

It makes people aware of PETA sure and gives them a lot of media presence but that's just the name it will unlikely make anyone turn vegan as everyone knows already that there will be animal stuff there.

They want drama and attention so that's what they get but a lot of people just thinks they are stupid.

it hopes to raise awareness of veganism through a mix of pornography and graphic footage of animal suffering.
Yep, thats sure to work.

Seeing beef curtains and then watching a cow get slaughtered is probably going to make me crave a McDonalds.

Probably not your best idea PETA.

Or we could live like hypocritical vegetarians who bleat on about how us meat eaters "kill animals unfairly for food" while the food they eat slaughters hundreds of thousands of animals a year that don't go to any purpose.

Yep, that sounds like a great idea.

Although in all fairness, it's 2011. If people haven't got the message that "being mean to animals is bad" then showing them a few pairs of tits between dancing bears is hardly going to strike the point home is it.

I approve of porn, but not PETA.
A strange realization to come across for myself. Not that I approved of pornography: I am an internet deviant through and through. But, conversely, that an advocacy group could sink below pornography on the list of things I would feel guilty about supporting.

As an organization, PETA is just a little below the Westboro Baptist Church on my "Most Hated Idiotic Organization" list...

PETA is doing more damage to their cause than good. Stunts like this will bring attention, but only so people can stare and mock them, not helping animals at all. They should just stop already

I might agree with the fundamental ideals of an organisation such as PETA, but PETA itself?
Please go away. You're horrible people.

Anyone else find it rather ironic that in their alleged fight for animal rights, they are more than happy to put female meat on display? Have there been any publicity stunt of theirs in the past five years which hasn't involved women in a state of undress?

No, they'll offer sex and then lock your computer on a video showing a dog being skinned alive.
Does that turn you on? No. I don't, you don't, nobody is happy.

The fact that PETA values animals higher than any humans (but themselves, as Mary Jane Sweetland proves nicely with her need for insulin...) alone should be more than enough to convince most people they are completely nuts, but this takes the lunacy cake XD.

Then I read:
"said it hopes to raise awareness of veganism through a mix of pornography and graphic footage of animal suffering."

This got to be a joke. Right PETA, riiiight? Oh man, thanks for the laugh.

So, what you are actually trying to tell me is that PETA is now targeting Glenn Quagmire?

Go figure. Giggity.

Dude, you've never been to 4chan have you? The more depraved parts of the internet have people that specifically get off on shit like this, PETA's just opening a site specifically for them.
