There was an old freeware one-player DOS battle game going back to about the mid 1980's. It had a world mape, with land squares (I think X's) and water squares (I think O's). It had various types of ships, planes, armies, etc., each designated by a certain number of letters (Carriers might be 5 C's strung together, a Fighter an F, an Army an A, etc.). It was a great game. Anyone know anything about this game.
