So last Monday, my PC was unavailable, so I popped the ethernet cable into my 360 for the first time in eons and had a go for about 15 seconds after which it gave me the red ring and an error message. After leaving it off for an hour not helping at all (I very much did doubt it was the heat, hadn't turned it on in weeks, though it is almost summer now), I decided the old Game Boy take-it-out-blow-put-it-back-in thing might work on the hard drive. It did, and I proceeded to amuse myself.
