Old OLD 'gaming' platforms

Some of you will know the one's I mean. I have to admit that there are only 2 I can remember the names of & they are the ZX Spectrum & the Comodore 64. These were the kind of machines that loaded games from a cassette or a flopy disc.
So here's the question. Did you ever play on either of these relics & do you remember any others from what I'm guessing is the stone age of gaming?

Bah, my history of games lectures cover all the old old old old consoles. And stuff about the people who made all the stuff for it.

But it all honesty, I'm a baby, my first console was the Playstation.

I played Starglider 2 on the Spectrum ZX, but my first real gaming machine was my Amiga 500. What a system. And in many ways the rivalry between the Amiga and the Atari ST was the precursor to that of the SNES/Megadrive, PS1/N63 and PS3/360.

I only have one game for it anyway.

I think I have a Coleco Vision in the back of my closet, but I don't know that for a fact.

I do know for a fact however that I have an NES and a gray Light Gun which seems to work alright.

The oldest console I own would be a NES, but I remember playing a C64 with my brother. Big shock for me, nostalgia trip for him.

My first gaming system was a Vic 20. I probably put tens of thousands of hours into a Commodore 64 - that system was hardcore for the time. Alas, I had a 1571 drive [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_1571] so I couldn't play some games (including many classic EA games) due to the fastloading routines optimized for the much more prominent 1541.

I once got a Colecovision in a garage sale. Not sure where it went.

One grade school class I went to had a setup of Timex Sinclairs. They made an odd hissing sound when they were turned on. I think I had enough time on them to mess around with drawing in Logo [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logo_%28programming_language%29].

Ah, the C64. Never owned one, but I knew people who did and played on it quite a bit. I loved New York City, but I didn't know what I was supposed to do in it. I just walked around and stole cars. An early version of GTA, now that I think of it.

Oldest I own is a NES. I believe it still works, haven't played it for 3 years or so. I got it for christmas when I was six, so if it still works it's been working for 20 years. Now that's quality.

Favorite game was, easily, Their Finest Hour: The Battle of Britain.

Holy crap that game was fun, and it wasn't so hard that little five-year-old me couldn't beat it either.

I had the PC version of that, played a ton of it. It was a pretty good little flight sim. Nice dramatic explosions when you nailed a fuel tank.

Of course, when I think Amiga flight simulators, I think Wings [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wings_%28game%29] or Armour-Geddon [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wings_%28game%29].

I owned a Commodore 64 when I was a kid. I can't remember anything about it, besides that I really liked the Great Giana Sisters, or whatever it was called.

I have both an Amiga and a C64, but I'm not sure which is oldest, and can't really be bothered to check. They still work just fine, too.

My grandfather owns a Commodore 128 (basically a sort of successor to the C64 with backwards compatibility with C64 software), which I used to play on quite frequently when I was younger.

Spoiler: It looked like this, for those who have never seen one.

He was supposed to actually give the thing to me about a year ago, but I only got the two disk drives and a bunch of books on C64 software and games, so that plan was never fully carried out.
