Reading through my old posts I sound like i'm full of hope and joy and it sickens me, I hate old me and hope he dies.

I am, but only the kind of happiness you get from making others as cold and miserable as myself, unlike my previous 'bunnys and hugs for everyone' persona which died when about the same time it dawned on me Timesplitters four was never going to get made.

I particularly like when i actually need them - for example when arguing with people in a situation where old arguments are still appropriate, and you can copy-paste with some editing to make a point.

I like to check back sometimes, especially if a particular comment got a lot of replies. I just can't help the desire to remind myself how fucking clever I am.

There is one word in the English language that causes me to hate the world. Whenever I read or hear this word I'm filled with the intense desire to commit homicide. That word...is billabong.

I still stand by this statement 100%.

Ohh, and this one's meta egotistical, since it was a thread about quotes from our lives, so it was alredy an ego wank, and now I get to do it again!

General:

My incompetent chemistry lab partners tend to invoke my wrath a lot:

I might actually argue that this is the greatest fetch quest ever. It only takes a minute, you walk maybe 40 feet, and you get to hogtie and kidnap a woman with no legal ramifications.

Sometime in the future someone will make a thread just like this one, and I will quote this post, and it will be meta as fuck.

My only regret is that my first posts in my post-lurker stage were made in either a veganism or feminism thread and I was actually being serious.
Those I would love to erase for I am ashamed to have argued on the internet.
Nowadays I try to stay away from such notions, but reading these threads for entertainment still holds up.

T'would seem I've mostly posted in serious threads on here. I had a Livejournal back when that was the thing, and I used to constantly go back and read my posts, and laugh at my own jokes.

The funniest things I've said on here are bringing up Animal Crossing on a thread about games you've beaten without dying, and this:

Today, 18-to- 34-year-old men spend more time playing video games a day than 12-to- 17-year-old boys.

Clearly us 18-to-34-year-old men should be playing more 12-to-17-year-old boys. Ambiguous grammar is fun.

I've since learned that the correct term is 'syntactic ambiguity'.
