All I can say is that he doesn't look half bad as Luke Cage, and he seems to be enjoying himself in that short trailer, which is always a good sign.

I've been apprehensive to the idea of him playing Cage since I first heard he was interested in the idea, and this video just enforces my belief that he and Luke Cage just wouldn't go together.

I can respect his desire to play the role, but he just isn't Luke Cage.

It doesn't surpise me since I read somewhere he wanted to play as Luke Cage and from the trailer he is perfect for that role should Marvel ever make a Luke cage film.

you know if Marvel makes a Luke cage movie I'm gonna go out on limb and say soon they're going to need the X-men characters. And it may come down to a big legal battle over x-men. and spiderman, and daredevil and any other IPs of marvel that marvel got tired of fox ruining. If not marvel gonna do what it always does in the situations slight renaming, and then whatever it wants. OS we may see an astonishing x-men movie, a spectacular spiderman movie and a devious daredevil movie pulled under the marvel shared universe umbrella. and everyone will start to see the cool differences and start to see the good ones and not the bad ones. and then fox will stop making bad superhero movies!

Stan Lee has zero control over at Marvel nowadays. He doesn't work there anymore.

well... yeah... but it is stan lee. and it seems like if you work at marvel and stan lee said to do something, unless it was crazy dangerous or obscenely exspensive with no return investment i'm pretty sure people at marvel would do it. i mean it's stan freakin' lee.

I am pretty sure he originally wanted to be Black Panther, but we all know that Djimon Hounsou is perfect for that role.

Yes, we all know him as the old spice guy, but, actually, I think it could work. He's got a great voice, which I always imagined Luke Cage would have, and it's always good to have an actor who loves his role and is determined to dedicate himself to it.
