I'm actually genuinely thinking of doing the same thing at the moment. About a week ago I got an urge to play through Beyond Good and Evil again (I got the "Mamago Garage" theme in my head, and can't stop thinking about how beautiful that game was), and as it hasn't been released on XBLA (as far as I'm aware) and I don't really run a gaming rig anymore (have a graphic arts rig with dual monitors which could easily handle it, but my 5.1 speakers are set up on a slower, older computer and I just couldn't be fucked getting it all together) and even then I don't really know if it was released on PC or how well it would transfer after I played it the first time through on Gamecube. I guess I could probably pick it and a cube up for less than $30...Underground Man said:A Gamecube. That I bought last year.
What? I like to wait until electronics depreciate (plus I was a PC gamer since I was a young larvae, and only discovered the majesty of consoles recently). My budget is about 20 bucks for a console (or console game). I'm a little more willing to shell out the dough for PC games because, owing to backwards compatibility, those tend to last longer than consoles.
I like to play SNES games too, but I emulate those.
wow thats some good old stuff!Hurbinshpluh said:Atari 2600 (circa 1977) and Intellivision (circa 1978)
