Road Rash and a football game on the Sega Genesis. Those technically aren't mine though. I've also got the box for Pokemon Silver (Gameboy Color)

I've got an old copy of Descent: Freespace. I've also still got the box for the F-Zero game I had for my SNES when I was a kid. I just discovered them this weekend, in the bottom of a years-old tote in my closet...why they were there, instead of with my box of computer stuff, I'll never know.

I have the original Myst. That was from '99 or 2000 I believe. It even has a tag of tape with my name on it from when I was fighting for territory with my brother as a kid.

Megafortress, 1991. I don't even know why it's still laying around, it's been stashed in a corner of my closet for ages. Almost certain the floppies are wiped by now though.

The OLDEST game I have the box for? Hm... I think it's probably Spyro the Dragon, but that's for PAL region, and I live in the US so...

Spyro: Year of the Dragon, greatest hits edition. Got the case, and manual.

I'm planning on getting the other two for NTSC region, so when I do, it'll be those.

Why do people still have their boxes for their atari's? Isnt that something your supposed to throw away when your done taking the gaming system out of it?
It's so that when you get a new console, you can pack up the old one neatly and not worry about parts getting lost or broken or chewed on by rodents, because you're definitely going to want to play some of those old games again some day and you'd be really disappointed if the console had died in the meantime.

Years later, you notice the box on top of the wardrobe and realise that you wouldn't even know how to get the console working with your fancy new HD flatscreen TV.

Yes, my family does have an Atari 2600 in its original box. On top of a wardrobe. Kept from loneliness by the Atari 600XL computer (date circa 1984) and the Super Nintendo, also in their original boxes. Poor obsolete darlings.

Oldest game I have the box for eh? I suppose that would be Descent, which is... 15 years old now apparently. Not the first game I ever owned, but it was the first one I ever purchased myself and the first one that came in a box (previous games ended up in my hands through the wonders of random software bundle packs, or if they ever had boxes my parents threw them out). I've kept every single box from all the games I've purchased - they reside in a stack along one wall of my room, just because.

Some 90s math game I forget what it's called but I don't want to fish it out of my dung heap. Let's see what else...I think I also have the original box for Ocarina of time on N64...I have all the original boxes for my ps1 games.

Actually this, but I didn't get it until recently, so the one I've kept the longest is still SMB3. So many kids in this thread too :\
