Oldest is probably the original Gameboy Tetris from 1989. Still as fun today, though a lot easier to see on a GBA SP screen.

Man, I still play all my original PSX games :p
Kula World, Crash Bandicoot (1 and 2, never got 3 :( ), Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus, Worms Armageddon, Monopoly... the list goes on.
And I reeeeeally wish I still had my old copy of Micro Machines V3... that was the best drunken party game ever
I've also used some ROMs (because I'm a bad bad person) in order to play quite a few of the above titles :p

Old games that I still play single player...

Doom (1-2) - Oldest FPS games I still play thanks to Doom Legacy. http://sourceforge.net/projects/doomlegacy/files/
Sonic (1-2) - Oldest plat-former that I replay often (usually only for a couple of levels).
Warcraft III and Warcraft III: tFT - Oldest RTS games I enjoy skirmishes or re-playing the campaigns.
Mario Kart 64 - Oldest racing game that I still enjoy playing occasionally.

Old games that I still play multi-player...
Warcraft III: tFT and Starcraft

Exile 3: Ruined World
Shinobi 3: Return of the Ninja Master
Contra 3: The Alien Wars
Super Mario Bros. 3
Mega Man 3
Mega Man X3.

And Starcraft: Brood War Three. Speaking of Starcraft, we escapists should get a game going some day.

Lemmings and Deuterous on the Amiga emulator, TSR's Goldbox games on DOSBox.

I guess that is as far back as I have at the moment.
