Quite simply... what's the point?!

Ryan Giggs is GB's captain... no disrespect to him, but I'm sure he's just going to regard it in the same way that he does pre-season friendlies...

No major team even remotely goes out of their way to attempt to win it, case in point only three of Spain's starting XI are in the squad. So, what good is it whether to football or the Olympics?

It'll be shit but it'll probably be the only part of the Olympics I watch if any. The big players aren't willing to risk injury for a poxy mini tournament that doesn't mean shit in the football world, they'll only do it for national pride.

If anything, the Olympics teams should be comprised with non-professionals. Everyone and anyone should have a chance to compete not just those who do it for a living. Isn't that the true Olympic spirit?

That's a good idea, I'd watch that but I doubt people would pay to watch it.
