Full disclosure: the guy what made this is an Internet Pal of mine.
OmniLudiCon [http://www.tigsource.com/] is a game-making game. Like some horrible, beautiful hybrid of ROM CHECK FAIL [http://www.farbs.org/games.html] and The Sims Carnival [http://www.simscarnival.com/], you (yes, you) design and build any number of single-screen retro-styled games. It comes with all the elements of platformer-types, Zelda types, Arkanoid types, Asteroids types, and it's straightforward enough to make games that are nothing more than extra levels for those arcade classics. But (in this player's opinion) it really shines through when you mix elements.
So why don't you show off what you've come up with?
