I have to go with starcraft 2 just because of all the custom maps, I have easily sunk more time into mafia then the main game

A bigger, better Scribblenauts with a free roam mode in an open world and longer, harder, less straightforward missions.

do you mean one game that you have not played yet? or just any game? Either way I would go with The Witcher /Dark Souls 2 for my choices. Both are my favorite series of this generation.

Solo? Or is multiplayer included?

If multiplayer is included, then UMVC3 . 50 characters , 3 assists each , teams of 3, combo creation liberty, there is a lot of content and possibility in that game.

id have to go with team fortress 2 for several reasons one Ive already lost 800 hours to the game with no sign of slowing down second valve does a good job of adding new content to keep it fresh as does the community at large. combine this with the fact that all the classes play just different enough to add some well needed variety and it adds up to the best option i could think of at time of writing.

I've put about 250 hours into XCOM: Enemy Unknown. So I guess I'd stick with that one.

Toss up between an MMO of choice (probably WoW, just for content depth) or a perpetually replayable PvP game such as DOTA or SC2.

Anything else just gets exhausted too quickly. 200-300 hour games are NOTHING. You'd need a game you could play for thousands upon thousands of hours.

Narrows the field considerably.

Considering that I still play it, the original XCOM... I suppose as long as I can DOSBox or equivalent emulation, I will play that game until I die.
I guess I like punishment.

Probably LOTRO. Played it almost daily for three years before I got bored(and that was due to the shitty quality of expansions). Guess that's as close as I get to an endless game I also enjoy.

If multiplayer games are out of the question I got no fucking clue. Final Fantasy X, maybe. Probably the game I spent most of my time on through numerous replays and apart from finding most of the characters annoying as fuck now that I'm older it's still very nostalgic to me. Combat system is awesome as well.

Also, word of advice, Zeekyle; don't bump your own thread by writing what should've been in the opening post to begin with.

Sly 2: Band Of Thieves

It's my GOAT so I wouldn't been that fussed if it was the only game I could ever play. Must've beaten it 25 times now.

It's a pity that it's a ***** to emulate. Haven't played it in years.

Absolutely no question - Kerbal Space Program (preferably a completed one though).

Far and away the most engaging and entertaining game I've played this year.

Rayman Origins... You will never see my body again... It's my modern perfect platformer... Started with platformers and now ending in a platformer as my highlander of choice...

Probably an MMO like Guild Wars 2 or WoW. While I may not enjoy them as much as other games, I get get longer lasting enjoyment out of them.

Civilization 5. When it comes to my favorite games that simply can't run out of replayability due to the level and type of content, Civilization 5 seems to fit the best.
