If you had to play one game only I was wondering what that game might be, and why?

Not sure if this has been done before, sorry in advance if so.

I would probably pick my favorite game, Legend of Mana. I've beaten that game without hyperbole over 100 times, and I'm still discovering new things to do in that game.

Plus since it's on PSN now I can also play it on my PSP, meaning I can play it anywhere.

Only on game for the rest of my life?

DISGAEA. With a max level of 9999 , and TONS of extras and side stuff to so that could literally take thousands of hours . I wouldn't need anything else . The bad thing is , once i finish it 100% . I would never want to restart it .

I would choose my all time favorite and first ever game that I owend:
Sonic and Knuckles.

Getting to play as two separate characters, discovering alternate paths, obtaining all the Chaos Emeralds and doing speed runs would keep me entertained for a life time. I have completed the game with both characters well over 20 times and that was on the good ol' Genesis.

Even the best games get old after a while. I'm not sure I can choose just 1. I like to have options. So, I can't just pick 1.

Not sure King of Fighters XIII maybe its not my favourite game by a long way but I really like it and it would take god knows how long to master im sure I could get a lot out of it for a very long time if I put the effort in even more so than in most fighting games.

Team Fortress 2
With tonnes of mods and updates every couple of weeks I'm pretty sure I wouldn't get bored of it any time soon.

Honestly, I'm more tempted to pick something I haven't played much of but which looks like it could eat up a ton of hours, like Xenoblade.

I'm sorry, but you can't ask me that.
*Mops up head and puts in a bag*

It's ok. I'm still trying to think of an answer myself.

If I can only pick a single player game, then I'd have to go with Morrowind. Love that game.

If multiplayer, then I'll go with WoW. In this hypothetical situation, I'm assuming that everyone else playing WoW can only play WoW aswell, therefore ensuring that I don't end up wandering Azeroth all on my lonesome.

Hmmm Morrowind would probably be a good one due to the extensive mods you can for it, though there becoming harder to find sadly.

If other people choose the same game, does that mean we can do multiplayer together?

If so:
TIMESPLITTERS FANS UNITE!
WE SHALL SPLITSCREEN FOR ALL ETERNITY!

Probably Rome 2 Total War when it comes out.
Failing that, maybe Civ 5, Europa: The guild 1400, or possbly Badlur's Gate 2.

Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus. Because that's my #1 favorite game of all time.

However if online multiplayer is available, then that would go to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Those red tiger camos won't get themselves, you know!

Maybe you should try it with hyperbole next time. I hear the controls are easier.

Have to go with a multiplayer game, prefereably something that can be modded and updated. Off the top of my head I wanna say SC2, simply for the variety of the custom games. Granted that kinda cheats the "one game" question, so my backup is TF2. Collect hats forever!
