If you had the power to do to bring one comedian back to life (literally raise him from the dead, make him funny again, or bring him out of retirement) for one more show, skit, or whatever it was that they did that made the so good; who would it be?

George Carlin or possibly John Candy... I miss John Candy.

Does Jim Henson count as a comedian? His death still makes me sad and he always made me laugh as a kid.

Tommy Cooper. He created the EPIC FAIL.
He deliberately messed up most of his tricks and got a laugh out of it.

Both of those. Candy and Henson will be sorely missed!
Hilarious guys, great memories.

Mitch Hedberg. Funny, funny man that died well before his time had come.

I'd go for George Carlin but he had a good run. Bill Hicks for the motherfucking win.

Mitch Hedberg, he died right before his career was going to take off.

I'd bring him back too, but with the amount of drugs he must have done you can't really say he died before his time.

Well, it may have been his own fault that he died, but that doesn't mean that he didn't die before his time. It was Kurt Cobain's fault that he died, but many people say that he died before his time.

Life-and-death wise, Richard Pryor, hands down. Maybe Bernie Mac. He wasn't doing so hot around the time he died, but in his heyday, he was amazing.

Career wise, Eddie Murphy. "Delirious" is probably my favorite stand-up act of all time. If we could get Murphy to be that funny again, well... I think we'd all be okay after all.
