One Year later...

Well it's about time to start looking back on the year 2012. And when better to start than my one year Escapist anniversary? It's been a good year with lots of good memories. Like the time a guy called the most reasonable woman they've ever met. Didn't know I was a woman but hey what can you do?

This site has made my days so much better this last year and I look forward to so many more. The community is awesome the content creators are some of the best and there isn't anywhere else I'd have preferred to be this last year.

It's just over a year since I joined too. And I spend wayyyy too much time here.

It's been a good year here. No major dramas [sub][sup][sub](well, other than Boudica and Zeel)[/sub][/sup][/sub], and I didn't get banned.

OT: Yes, I like the escapist, I have been here since 2010. This is my second profile *no the first one wasn't banned*.

I do like it here and plan to be here still by next year, but who knows maybe I won't be. Maybe I'll even have half of the post count TopazFusion has...good lord.

II'm pretty much backing you up here OP, been a great year, I got a lot more active after 2011 when I did my military service, more free time = escapist, right?

I'm soon on my third year and thoroughly enjoying myself here

I didn't start posting too much until about a year ago so in some ways I think of this season as being my real join date (not certain on precisely when it was my posting picked up, I remember a spiderman thread I joined and then, bam, I became an avid forum goer). For me the past year has been hit and miss. I got my associate's, but I also now am stuck trying to get a job so I can afford my next couple of years and loathing every wasted minute I spend lazing about in my parents' household. I do like the movies that have come out this year though. Good year.

Edit- as for looking back on my year of posting, I have gained an arch-nemesis, learned I have some issues with the Netherlands, spent over two hundred posts embedding an image in every post, made some friends, derailed a thread or two, and was called a teenage girl with daddy issues. That last one will never cease to entertain me. Oh, and I made some pretty unsettling comments about dicks, sheep/goats, and the end of the world. I love my absurd rants, even if you guys don't.

this year was a strange one in that it was very mediocre nothing much happened besides the kickstarter boom that is.
