A Hermit's Cave
In a poor imitation of Jonluw's recent spate of trivial, banal and totally creepy... for science... interesting questions, I have one of my own...

Chaps (and ladies, if so inclined...): how do you deal with your nasal hair?

Does the sight of it piss you off or are you ambivalent about it?

I eagerly await your responses... ¬_¬

I want an electric nasal hair trimmer.

At the moment I pluck mine out and it makes my eyes water every damn time.

I don't get nasal hair so I don't have to deal with it

It has never been, and I hope it never will be, an issue for me.
Having really hairy nostrils would be unfortunate.

I braid mine into little hearts, always gets the ladies.

Hmm gotta try that.. Mine just flutter away in the breeze. I was amazed when I went to pluck one out one day to discover it was attached to my ass..

Scissors.

...

Blunt nosed scissors.

That part is important.

I have one; it's not that great. I resort to the painful plucking more often than not.

I don't notice it, I don't have a hairy nose so I've never actually thought about it before. The only time it's noticeable is if you're right next to my face and looking up my nose, and at that point my personal space is a bigger issue than my nose hair.

This. So much this. If you value your health, sanity, and your soul, don't grab a sharp nosed one. Not in the morning while you're still dozy. Erm, just a random thing, I suppose.

This. Electric trimmers are pretty damn useless, so I use the tweezers.

I find it a sort of meditational pain, quite relaxing to do absent-mindedly while watching TV.
I live a sad life.

You're like my old man... only he just randomly plucks out his stubble... he finds it relaxing... somehow.

OT: I alternately use tweezers or a nasal hair trimmer, but it's rubbish and my nose keeps on itching because of the fragments of cut hair that hasn't been appropriately removed... though 'appropriate removal' necessitates burrowing with a tissue, the sight of that which emerges being thoroughly grossifying.

Yank on 'em, can't feel it most of the time.

For some odd reason, I am 23 and my nose hair grows like crazy! So I quite often feel one tickling my nose or vibrating as I breathe so I grab it and pull, only to pull about another 4 or 5 ...

Like I said though, it doesn't hurt at all.

Either you have no nerve endings in your nose or they're just not that attached. Because I've tried to pull them. Either they come out on their own time, or I'm crying and holding my nose in pain.

I don't have much pain tolerance...

No, there definitely attached, it just doesn't hurt. I can feel it pulling on my nose, just no pain.

Not much else to say really.
