have you guys heard about this? MC Lars and YKCracker's new split EP, "The Digital Gangster" has just been released for online. In a very Radiohead like move (and god what I hope is the future of music distribution) they've set up a "Pay what you think it's worth" system. You can pay whatever you want for the CD, and there are varying tiers depending on what you want to pay for it as to what you get. The thing that interests me is, as iv'e said, is this a viable method of media distribution? can people be trusted if they are to name their own price? could this work for games or movies?
