There are only two solutions here. Either you must convince her to elope with you, or you must proceed directly to Coppers/Diceys and drown your pain in vast quantities of loose women.

Arranged marriage? Where do you live, Kuwait?
Well according to his profile it says that he lives in Ireland.

But I think the more important question is where exactly does she live?

I've been with someone I met online for nearly a year now, and it's been going pretty well. I went to see her graduate actually, my first trip anywhere (Canada -> US, not that far) by myself, it went alright besides the fact that her parents said I would only ruin her life and told me never to talk to her again. Bumps in the road I guess.

Yeah, bumps in the road, are you thinking of just running them over?
Then they will be just bumps in the road and maybe a few dents and scratches.

Well I didn't MEET her online, but I got back in touch with a girl I went to high school with, and then we started going on dates. I'm fairly pissed I didn't start talking to her back then, because we're pretty close now, and that's just years wasted. In fact, now that I think about it, that's probably my only regret in life. I just hope I can make things only get better with her from here.

Thanks. She's had some pretty bad relationships in the past, so I've got an uphill battle ahead of me, but so far I feel like I'm winning.

Or at the very least, still moving forward.

My sister and her hubby met online. It's not a bad way to go about it... if you don't mind the fact that most places on the Internet are total sausage parties.

I like to think so. In two weeks I'm dropping a grand to visit her in Florida for a few days, and I'm glad I can afford it.

Kuwait???
I'm just wondering how exactly she can get into a marriage that she doesn't want to be in. Usually, something like that would only happen in heavily religious places, especially the middle east. In pretty much every first world country, it's down to the people getting married themselves. If she's in a first world country, than she can opt out of the marriage.
her parents are heavily religious and wont listen to her

LARGE LETTERS

Anyway, no, I haven't fallen in love on the internet. I've made friends on the internet, but I think love is going just a bit too far, especially considering how much it affects your life.

In your case, I have a feeling that it wasn't really true love. I think just forget about it.
You think those are big letters?

Doesn't matter, if she lives in a country like America, Australia/New Zealand or anywhere in Europe, she's the one who signs the papers, it's her decision. Unless she's a Muslim, but even then, in those countries she still has control.

If what you've said is all true, then I think she's duping you.
dats only wat u think

This is just an insane idea on my part, but couldn't she go on "vacation" to see you before the arranged marriage and you two could get married in secret?
