Sorry if this thread has been up before my searches always bring up threads locked for piracy / advertising / bottishness

I was recently checking out the ZP ripoff on Game-Stop, and while I was critical for the blatant stealing of style (including forced profanity, a mumbly american using words like "twat", and rocketing through the script even though he doesn't "talk fast")

But there was a single solitaire good point that convinced me to abandon my habit of picking up secxond hand games at my local EB. They do not test them, leave it to the purchaser to test it when they play it, and bring it back if it don't work.

The one thing is I often choose to play the games that don't get much play or public appeal. Things like Odin's Sphere or Hotel Dusk. Games that aren't really findable at Kmart, and rarely exist in pairs in the used section.

am wondering if anyone knows of decent online ordering, preferably something corporate (safer) with good selection of new games, that doesn't markup stupid (why I don't buy new at EB). And no eBay, I don't order enough to take the trust gamble that eBay entails. I am in Canada too, keep that in mind.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me out.

Well, with no eBay, you really limit yourself. Use paypal, it's very safe ordering through them, because you can get your money back if something goes wrong, and there's always toolhaus.org, which can display every negative and neutral rating a seller has ever received.

I've bought a number of games on eBay, and never had a single problem.

Ebay is pretty safe. Also I think paypal has a chargeback feature you could use to get your money back?

And try gamecrazy.

Amazon is quite good for all your online shopping needs. They have a handy stock of new and old games and their is a good chance that they will have what you are looking for. I don't buy things over the world wide interwebs much, but when I need/want to Amazon is the first place to turn. You know outside iTunes for my music.

Edit: Or Play.com their good too, you can even rent from there.

There are a couple in there that I had not heard of and will check out thanks.

I might check out eBay if not for the fact that there are a bunch of other inconveniences attached to it as well that make it difficult to deal with potential issues, but I'll review, maybe I'll be better suited to over look my "scared of the internet" when I next move.

Thanks again guys.
