Hey guys, shopping on the internet seems to be like the new thing to do in this day and age. It's convenient, easy, and you can even have your products dropped off at your house in just a few weeks time. However, there are the infamous scandalous ones out there too. So my question to you us, have you ever been swindled for your money from an otherwise legit-looking website? If you feel comfortable sharing, how much did you lose to these cyber criminals? Did you ever get your item you ordered or were you just left to rage about it for a few days before eventually moving on?
To start it off, I've been rather fortunate with my online purchases, however a recent one has me worried. I recently purchased two shirts from sharkrobot.com for my boyfriend and myself. I spent around 43$ for the shirts and regular ground mail shipping fees (cheapest option). It's only been a day or so since I placed my order, and I have yet to receive an "order shipped" e-mail from them. (I did get an "Order confirmed" e-mail though.) Again it's still pretty early for worry, but I'm quite the sack of nerves and I fear sharkrobot may just scam my boyfriend and I out of two simple yet awesome t-shirts.
