I only just heard of OnLive today, and I must say it apears as though made of AWESOME. Of course the creators will always say there thing rocks, so I am still a litle skeptic. Overall I am looking forward for this possibly world altering event.

However, a thing I didn't catch is can you buy games? I saw that you could rent, and that does sound good, but this dream it set in my head would come chrasing down if I don't get to own games anymore.

I could be me that just missed it, so I am asking here.

Will OnLive mean that I have to "WOW" all my games in the future? (Not that I play WOW, I bloody hate it, but I belive you know what I mean)

I don't think they've fully revealed their plans on how it would work.

But their system relies on client-server connections, and uses server power to run the games. I can't think of any reasonable financial model that *doesn't* involve a subscription plan of some sort, even if they allow you to 'buy' the games.
