I started playing Fallout New Vegas. Well you need to play the game 4 times to do all the quests since there's 4 separate story-lines. Which annoys me since I wanted to do everything on one play though. Since this is the sequel to to Fallout 3 I was hoping it would be somewhat like it.

What games have splitting story lines that you think shouldn't have splitting story lines?

I am not entirely sure its a direct sequel from fallout 3 but for the second part of the post only Fallout NV cuz even after seeing every game ending(had saved beforehand) i was left uninterested to make a choice but as far i know the fallout franchise was always big on multiple options by design,Fallout 3 had the recipe wrong not New Vegas

P.S. i am a bethesda fan for the search and find side-quest not on the overpolished candy ending like skyrim

Fallout New Vegas is not a direct sequel of Fallout 3, though it may appear so gameplay wise. Direction wise is closer to Fallout 1 and 2.

The splitting path is to try to give the player a sense of direction in the type of character he plays. I for exemple like when some options are close to me if I make some decisions, feels more like that my decisions have consequences...
