Why would they boast? They don't know you and probably don't care about you. They'd have to be pretty insecure to try to boast like that.
Yeah, I know. As I said, I'm an insecure and frigid person with barely any friends, so sometimes it feels as if it's boasting when my friends (who I do know) or just people from school start making out in front of me. It's like, "Why do you have to do that? It just makes me feel awkward."
Today at school, I literally had to turn the other way and look down at the ground as I was on my way to IT, walking past my friend locked in some intense embrace with his girlfriend.
Personally, I don't know what I would do if I had a girlfriend. I know that a lot of teenagers actually HAVEN'T had proper girlfriends and lost their virginity at some drunken clunge-fest of the party (which I, of course, would never be invited to!), but...I just forgot what I was going to say. OK, basically, maybe it's just hard for me to put myself in that situation, because I know what it's like to be on the recieving end of something like that. If a future girlfriend wanted me to do PDA, I'd probably do it, but I'm not sure how confident I would be about it.
But that's me NOW. Hopefully, as I'm going through my therapy, I'll be a changed man and I won't be this insufferable, misanthropic, cynical, "Forever Alone" dickbag.
