I was wondering whether people think what they're doing is okay. For those who don't know, they're a group of hackers that are just in it for the money and so far they've stolen records from Visa and Mastercard, AGO interim, Americash Advance and they plan to hack into a Hollywoodstar's things.

I just realised that I haven't heard of them doing anything ouside of my country. Anyone outside of Belgium heard of them?

No, I haven't heard of them. Very quick googling gave me some comic book and some news, one was indeed in English, the rest weren't (or were about the comic book).

Still "hackers that are just in it for the money", as opposed to who? The other two names out there are LulzSec, who were in it for the lulz, and Anonymous who...are complicated. Mostly everybody else is after money. Or some people just want to see the world burn, but money is a good motivator, too.

How would it be OK? I have yet to read up on them but from what you told us, I don't see anything that would not make it OK. Are they supporting a larger cause? Doing some Robin Hood tricks? Still wouldn't justify it but a bigger cause may still give them something to stand on. As it is, though, you're asking if being a criminal is okay.
