Can't see the woman, but Bioware's alright. Good when they're making pause-to-plan strategy RPGs, bad when they're making crouch cover TPSs. IMHO, of course.

Whatever. So far as I understand it, she got criticism for wanting a more story driven basis in games (suggesting that players should have the ability to skip the gameplay and go straight to the cutscenes in the same way that they can skip the cutscenes to go straight to the gameplay, or something). Now I'm very much a gameplay orientated gamer, and I hate it when cutscenes come across as breaking up the gameplay rather than happening along side of it. But I've gotten over that whole opinion-complex that is so deep rooted in the gaming community. Gamers like different things. Some gamers like more story driven games. I'm cool with that. I can simply not buy those sorts of games and spend my money on the more gameplay driven releases. It's really not a big deal if games are being made that I don't like and other people do.

I'd fix his image for him, but I rather suspect this is a sad attempt to re-ignite some kind of Hepler/Bioware controversy, and I don't really want to be an accessory to that.
I think she kind of misses the point of games. If she wants a story with no gameplay, she should crack a book or watch a movie. Still, that's no reason to hate her.

Bioware used to be a company that made some of the finest RPGs, but now they work hard at dropping that craft.
That woman seems to not like games, apparently she is also not aware of Youtube... I'm not really sure how these people get hired by such companies, maybe it's a "cousin needs job" kinda thing.
