Opinions on rain?

I like rain myself - when I'm inside. I have an attic room, and I like the sound of the rain falling on my window (it's in a 45 degree angle or so). My weekend job is in a greenhouse, which is also reason for me to love rain. Sunshine can make it quite hot inside, even when it's not all that warm outside. Sunshine also reflects on many surfaces - such as all the clean windows or the leaves of the roses. Rain doesn't create those issues.

However, yesterday I found out that rain has a dark side. The side where you get soaking wet because you left your raincoat at home. In a 10 minute trip to the train station I managed to get absolutely soaked - It took almost 5 hours for my clothes to dry. Most uncomfortable school day in a long time.

I love rain, especially heavy rain (Not the game, though it was pretty good). It cleans the air, refreshes and feeds the plants, and depending on the mood, the sound of it falling on the window-pane can be relaxing.

My car doesn't handle well in rain, but other than that, I really enjoy it. Being in Australia, nearly all rain is good (not flooding levels like in Brisbane, obviously). If it happens to be raining in a game I'm playing at the same time, nothing will pull me away from it.

It's usually sunny where I live but when it rains it can be a small flood (live on the coast). Personaly I've always liked the rain, I especailly like how everything looks after it has rained.

I dislike rain. When my hair gets wet it becomes really curly and destroys my otherwise beautiful hair.

The sound of rain on the roof is the loveliest thing ever. I always open my window to listen to it and take my headphones off.

Being outside in rain isn't that bad, unless it's heavy wind too, then it can be really annoying. As I recently got glasses too it's mildly frustrating getting then drenched in water so I can't see anything.

But I love rain, it's lovely.

I have mixed feelings about rain, usually I love it and enjoy a good walk in it, I especially like thunderstorms and because I like on the coast like to watch the lightning strike the sea. However, I have been 2 music festivals this year and both have been washed out, rain at music festivals is a huge pain in the arse as there is nowhere you can really go and being wet and cold is never fun.

I love the rain. It not only serves a very vital purpose, that is renewing the the land, but it is just so peaceful to watch and listen to. Add in a little thunder and lightning and I sleep like a baby at night.

Here in Hawaii it can get kind of hard to deal with the constant sunlight and heat all the time, only in the evening does the sunlight ease up to the point where the brightness and heat is half-way tolerable. Give me a freaking rain storm already.

I don't mind it when I'm out and on my own in it. But 99.99% of the time I'm with my 2.5yo who very rarely uses a buggy, then, it's not much fun when you have to get places without getting too wet and cold.
It's fun when I throw us both out in the garden when it's really heavily raining though.

I'm fine with rain as long it doesn't rain for an entire week (it doesn't get flooded over here but it will elsewhere in the UK) and I don't have to go outside for too long (I hate getting fully wet). I'm fine going out if it's light rain or a shower.

I love rain and thunderstorms! It is easily my favourite sort of weather, especially when it's nice a cool. I absolutely hate the heat. Unfortunately living in South Australia means I get the heat and not much rain...

I love rain. It is my favorite type of weather. It is somehow relaxing and energizing at the same time. And sitting there, watching the intermittent lightning strikes between the cloud is just hypnotizing.

Don't mind it. Doesn't really affect me. I do, however, love the smell of the air AFTER a thunderstorm. Its so fresh and brilliant.

I love rain, especially thunderstorms. Occasionally, there will be the thunderstorms which knock out power, they suck.
I like rain because it is soothing, but when it is the kind of light sprinkling that doesn't even warrant me getting a jacket for the day, then that is the kind that is annoying.
I prefer snow, but rain is pretty cool too

I love rain. I even take my dog for walks in it. It makes for nice peaceful walks because hardly anyone else is around in it.

Only time I don't like rain? When you have to go to work in it.
