I love rain so much I plan on living in Seattle JUST for the massive amounts of rain and clouds it get's.
Opinions on rain?
This is exactly my situation. I grew up in Southern California, in rural chaparral, and rain felt like a rare miracle to be treasured. I loved it more than anyone else did and could never understand why they always complained.NeutralDrow said:I live in semi-arid chaparral, right next to a pair of deserts. I love rain, and overcast skies in general; it means the sun isn't going to be blaring, and the air will be cooler and fresher.
The only time I ever came to dislike rain was being in Japan during the summer, when it could rain at literally any moment while having absolutely no effect on the (humidity-enhanced) hot temperature.
I agree that heavy rain is much more amusing than cold CENSORED drizzle that simultaneously blinds me and chills me to the bone marrow while cycling to work.TheTygerfire said:It just started to thunderstorm here and, since I'm desperate for a topic of discussion at the moment, I started to wonder about others opinions on rain.
Heh. In that case, I'll see if I can't learn from your mistake and stay here in Southern California! ^_^EmperorSubcutaneous said:This is exactly my situation. Now I live in Northwest Florida and rain feels like the weather is sneezing or having some other biological function...
Clearly, you haven't seen the Season 2 openers of MLP yet.Zachary Amaranth said:Is that pony dead?Nickompoop said:
I love the rain. Living in the Northeast, it's probably a good thing, or I'd be miserable 7 months a year.
I don't watch My Little pony. The horse looks shrunken and dead, possibly drowned.Nickompoop said:Clearly, you haven't seen the Season 2 openers of MLP yet.
Nah, she's not. She just really likes chocolate rain.Zachary Amaranth said:I don't watch My Little pony. The horse looks shrunken and dead, possibly drowned.Nickompoop said:Clearly, you haven't seen the Season 2 openers of MLP yet.
