I know this sounds like trolling or blasphemy or whatever, but I really can't stand the taste of oreos. They taste like bricks of pure cocoa and stuck together with glue, absolutely horrible.
Gimme regular chocolate chip cookies or those honey glazed hazelnut things over oreos any day.

I love oreos. When sticking to namebrand oreos, I guess my favorite would be the double stuffed onw. But this is one of those weird situations where the off brands are frequently better than the name brand. A "Double Stuffed" Oreo has about as much cream in it as a regular off brand version, and the off brand ones don't charge extra if you want vanilla cookies, or one side vanilla, the other side chocolate for that matter. Seriously, about the only thing name brand Oreo does that off brand doesn't either do or do better is mint Oreos, which I'll admit are delicious.

The chocolate covered mint kind of Oreo.

They're basically thin mints (the girl scout cookie) coated in Oreo frosting, and then dipped in chocolate.

I also like Double Stuffed.

And yes, after the gay rights add, I went out and bought six packs to show my support.

My preferred Oreo? FRIED OREOS!

Easy to make too, just dip them in pancake batter and deep fry them for a little bit then cover them in powered sugar. Usually Double stuff. If not fried Oreos then Golden Oreos. I'm not too crazy on chocolate to begin with. I also really enjoy the white fudge covered ones that come out around the Christmas season, much like egg nog.

I like oreos but I don't go to the trouble of splitting them apart like they do in the commercials. Dip 'em in milk and then consume. I also like the "golden" kind. Just something about that cookie...

Oreo's are really not a big a deal as you're making them out to be. Oreo's are okay at best. Personally a good bourbon is my favourite biscuit, perfect for a good dunking in tea. Hobnobs are a close second with chocolate digestives not far behind.

I think this obsession with Oreo's must be an American thing.

And yes, I have tried the whole deal with the pulling/twisting apart and with the milk and what not. They're nothing special, nothing to see here, move along.
