Orginal better than the sequel

I'm suprised you enjoyed the first AC the most, but it is a good game, also more historically accurate (the assassin organisation was based on a real one in the mountains) but I prefer the liberties in the later games, it has more playability. You also have to remember, in the later games the italian locations are stunningly accurate, and the characters are based on real people (although OBVIOUSLY they have been weaven into a fictional story). I see your point though, and its respectful enough

God of War 1.

The story was the best in the series, and Kratos came off as likable.

That said, Ghost of Sparta and Chains of Olympus for PSP both make Kratos likable again, as he's not just going for vengence.

Ghost of Sparta is my favorite God of War overall.

But God of War 1 is better than 2 or 3.

I'll say Mass Effect. While some of the changes in Mass Effect 2 were for the better, I thought the story was better in 1, I liked exploring planets (although the Mako was hell), I liked getting more than 2 weapons, and I hated the idea of thermal clips (what was wrong with overheating anyways?). I think Mass Effect 2 tried to fix and streamline things too much, and ended up missing the mark.

here's my reasoning, I liked both ME1 and 2. But honestly, i think 2 was the better.

That abundant response annoys me to no end seeing as how I don't see in any way (besides having a proper ending) how the first KOTOR could possibly be better than the second. The second had numerous improvements but apparently that doesn't even cross people's minds simply because it was "rushed for release" according to everyone.

I agree. Kreia alone far outshines all the characters in the first in terms of fascinating awesomeness, and all the other characters also had very well written back-stories.

I agree, whoever voice acted Kreia should have won VA of the Year or some other prestigious award. I can't recall any other video game character being as compelling as Kreia.

I agree with this too. Especially with the restoration patch, it's just as good as the first.

I'd have to say BioShock. BioShock 2 was just awful.

Mass Effect, this by no means that the 2nd game was bad, the first one has a score of 99% if I had to make it numerical, the second one on the other hand had a 92% at first, but it's grown on me so now it's about 98%, might even match the first one with a well placed DLC.

The reason for this difference is that while both game have excellent... everything, the first one does Atmosphere (mostly due to a better soundtrack) better while the second one is much better gameplay wise.
