I'm gonna throw out a weird title and say give Raze's Hell a try, its has framerate issues like you read about but it had a great sense of humor and tons of creative ways to kill.

I'd have to say Conker: Live & Reloaded. The redone multiplayer was crap, but the remake of the original singleplayer was great.

These are favourites of mine:

Halo: Combat evolved
Conker: Live and reloaded
Shadow of memories
Psychonauts
Jet set radio future
Fable
Beyond good and evil
Timesplitters
KoTOR

These are the ones that spring to mind. If you don't mind me asking, what games do you currently have for the original Xbox?

KOTOR 1
KOTOR 2
Republic Commando
Battlefront series
Now that the Star Wars games are out of the way...

Halo 1+2
Fable
Umm.... that's what I can think of. I was seriously obsessed with Star Wars when I was playing the original Xbox (I still am, but you get my point)

The Timesplitters games, Jet Set Radio Future, Otogi, and Panzer Dragoon Orta are my obligatory calls. All great games, well worth a shot if you haven't played them.

It's a ***** that Microsoft gets away with never delivering the backwards compatibility, isn't it?

Knights of the Old Republic I & II

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (available On-Demand on XBL)

Star Wars Battlefront II

Jade Empire

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (if you missed out on it)

Ninja Gaiden: Black is an absolute must have. Samurai Warriors, Dynasty Warriors 4, Otogi 1 and 2, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Jet Set Radio Future, Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2, SSX 3, Mercenaries, and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy are good, too.

Recently I bought an old Xbox for a cheap price, mainly to play Xbox games that aren't playable on my 360, like James Bond: Everything or Nothing. Anyway, I don't have that many games for it at the moment and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?
SSX 3, it's a snowboarding game but it's fun as hell. I play it on the 360 though since the controls for flipping use the D-Pad, and holding the other buttons for tricks just hurts my hand and the 360 controller is smaller and eases this.

If you haven't played it already, the original Halo is worth trying out. In all honesty, you can skip Halo 2. I found the single player campaign disappointing, and the only way you're going to get multiplayer to work anymore is if you play one-on-one split screen or somehow organize a LAN party.

Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction is a fun title. As the name implies, most of the game's focus in on blowing stuff up in a variety of ways in a (mostly) open world environment.

Urban Chaos: Riot Response is an overlooked gem of a shooter. The story's a joke, but the gameplay is pretty fun. You can use a riot shield as portable cover and as a blunt weapon, and there are a variety of optional challenges in each stage that unlock weapon and gear upgrades, increasing the replay factor.

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge is an enjoyable flight combat game. The graphics still look impressive, and gameplay is reminiscent of Rogue Squadron. There's all sorts of optional things you can do like racing or finding hidden areas, and you can upgrade your aircraft with the earnings you make.

I heartily recommend Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 if you don't mind a World War II setting. It's one of the most historically accurate WWII shooters I've seen on a console. You command a squad of soldiers, and you issue orders to them in real time. Good leadership is essential, and it almost takes on a puzzle element sometimes as you figure out the best way to flank that MG-42 pinning you behind cover.

If you're even remotely a fan of Star Wars, KOTOR is a must. It is one of the best Star Wars games I have ever played, no doubt about it. Admittedly some of the gameplay mechanics feel a bit clunky nowadays if you compare it to recent titles like Mass Effect, but the story is phenomenal.

While we're on the subject of Star Wars, you might want to try Republic Commando as well. Yes it takes place in the prequel era, but hear me out on this one. References to the movies are vague at best, and it focuses more on presenting the Star Wars universe in a darker, grittier light through the eyes of a soldier. Gameplay is a combination of Brothers in Arms and Halo, With intuitive squad commands and pretty darn intelligent AI, both friendly and enemy.

Those are just a few that come to mind. Personally, I feel the Xbox had an excellent game library.

I'm gonna say Oddworld: Munches Oddysee but only because I love the series, and can't play it because it barely functions on a 360.

I don't know about that. I loved all aspects of Conker: Live and Reloaded. Personally I thought the multiplayer was ok. Way too hard to figure out certain things but overall it was playable. Single Player was hysterical though.
