Oscar Thoughts?

what are your thoughts on the oscars this year
what nominees dissappointed you?
do you even watch the oscars?
what awards are you looking forward too?

for me, im just dissappointed that Inception was overlooked for Editing (of ALL things) and Tron Legacy was overlooked for Best original score (because it was the best)
also King's speech is probably gonna win BP though id rather it didnt
and in regards to the acting awards id say its anybody's game right now
EDIT: also Mark ruffalo should never have been nominated and Andrew garfield should have taken his spot for The Social Network

Acting is pretty much a lock, IMO.

Firth will get Best Actor.
Portman will get Best Actress.
Bale will get Best Supporting Actor.
Leo will get Best Supporting Actress.

The only one of those that might now win is Leo, who's award I can see going to Amy Adams as well.

The other I will consider a lock right now.

And I think that The Social Network will get Best Picture.

your probably right about portman and Bale
and ive seen plenty of "expert picks" naming hailee steinfeld as Best Supporting actress, and i think she deserves it
