want people to see how you look? use this Hero Machine 2.5 [http://www.ugo.com/channels/comics/heromachine2/heroMachine2.asp]

The tail isn't right but it's the closest thing they have, it should be more like an "Alien" tail. The eyes should also be in a diamond patern instead of square.

About a drink in James turns at the sound of the door opening to see a familiar face. "Hey, it's Connor, right? I used to frequent your bar 'till I moved out here for a little peace and quiet. The name's James if you don't remember, how bout pulling up a chair?" James picks a chair up with his tail and moves it next to his spot at the bar. "Jake get the man a... what do you drink?"

"Scotch" Connor replies.
from the first post

As the bar tender pours Connor his scotch James askes "So what are you doing in this neck of the woods?"

Sylvester dragged the man to the edge of a small forest, and tied his chain to a tree. He pulled out a note saying By order of Damien Lier, this man is not to be moved. He doubted the man would be found, but it was worth being safe about this. He then headed back to the city.

Upon arriving there, he walked towards a general hardware shop. He walked in with his mask on, and asked for a knife, a meat cleaver, some rope, some matches, and some fire-lighters.

The man was puzzled by the mask. "Why go in disguise if all you want to do is have a barbecue?"

"Oh, it's not that. It's just everyone hates me." Sylvester left it at that. He didn't correct the man about his assumption that Sylvester was having a barbecue, for 2 reasons. The first reason was that it was better off that this man didn't know what they would be used for, and the second reason was that on some levels he was right about it.

Sylvester paid the man and headed back towards the place he left the man. He arrived to find the man asleep. His tolerance for pain was surprising, but what Sylvester was about to do was more on the level of psychological torment.

He smiled, and began to get to work. When Sylvester had first arrived here, he was roughly neutral, but had he died in his current state he would certainly have gone to hell...

Damien walked over to the bar where he saw Connor disappear. he started whispering to him. "Hey, we might need some cash. place a few bets on me and i'll start a fight. besides, i'm bored and a bar fight seems like fun. Give me a signal or something when you're ready." He staggered to a stool, looking for all the world like a man who had just tried drowning his sorrows in tank of beer.

I'm afraid I must agree with RareDevil, it would seem this rp has gone belly up and for future reference here's why:there was no goal. We have a book that we are chaseing after because.... And a ring that we also want to find...for some other reason. This RP had no plot it was all PL and no OT we didn't know what we were trying to achieve or why we wanted to achieve it.

Alright, the lack of an aim is a problem. So for those that are still playing, I'll try and provide one. It wont be completely explained, to give you some leeway, but I hope you can deal with that. I hope you like it, as I wont be posting here after this.

Sylvester smiled at the man's pain. He was evidently suffering from conflict caused from Sylvester's torture, and what appeared to be a fear of the consequences of telling him. Then an idea seemed to strike the man.

"...Alright. I'll take you there. Just please stop what you're doing."

"Very well." Sylvester stopped. He doubted whatever the man was planning was very good, since he had already marked him down as an idiot. "I'll be expecting you to take me there in 1 hour."

The man nodded. Sylvester would have liked to speed these things up a bit, but he had sliced open and roasted the man's feet, so even with his speedy regeneration, he had to wait for a while.

* * *

An hour later Sylvester was following the man like a man and a very sorry dog. He had little idea where he was going, and he didn't care that much. He just wanted to get that ring, for reasons he could no longer remember.

The man seemed to be leading him towards a different city. The city was apparently one built close to nature, with every building teemed with vines growing up them.

When they arrived, Sylvester was surprised to catch a glimpse of Damien. He immediately made the man speed up, and Damien didn't see him.

They arrived at a bed and breakfast, and rested for one night. Sylvester payed happily for the accommodation this time, using the last of his gold: if he got this right then he wouldn't need it anymore.

* * *

The next day the man led him towards an odd looking back alley. While the rest of the town was green, the plants on these buildings seemed to be bright red. Sylvester considered why, until he saw what appeared to be a vampiresque person licking them to find they were green underneath. Sylvester was repulsed by this.

The man led him to a door. Fortunately the handle was not red. Sylvester considered his options, then swung his end of the chain up to the guttering systems, then shinned up a pipe and dragged the man up. He tied his chain in a loop, also taking care to gag the man with the remainder of his chain, then left Damien's symbol on him and shinned down.

He knocked on the door. A hatch slided open, and a pair of eyes leered at Sylvester.

"Password?"

Sylvester reached his left hand through the hatch, and stabbed his fingers into both the man's eyes. "I believe it's let me in or I ram my fingers in further."

The door opened slightly, and Sylvester retracted his arm and instead used it to force the door the rest of the way open.

There was o-one in that room save for the password man, who now lay in agony on the ground. Sylvester kicked him as he headed for the door opposite.

He opened it, and was met with an astonishing sight. There was a group of people being led in towards an odd machine that appeared to be... Sylvester didn't know. Judging from the screams it wasn't pleasant.

"And who might you be?" An ugly, troll-like human approached Sylvester from the side startling him. Sylvester immediately picked him up with his left hand, then gave him a bolt of lightening that charred him pretty heavily. He was grateful that his gloves could withstand high temperatures.

Sylvester now turned towards another door that he noticed. He decided to find out about the machine later. He walked over to it and opened it.

Two guards immediately ran at Sylvester, but their armor was metal, and Sylvester didn't even need a strong thunderbolt to deal with them. They fell backwards, and lay there, unconscious.

A man at the desk opposite Sylvester was surprised. His surprise then became a smile. He reached towards an intercom, and spoke. "Miss Luna, I want to test the prototype. Could you send it up here?"

Sylvester advanced on the man. He raised his left hand, and pinned the man against a wall.

"I will not be your test subject. Now give me Alencien's ring."

"Oh, but I think you will. Look behind you."

Sylvester turned, and saw what appeared to him to be a horrible monstrosity. It was basically a lot of the mutations of the otherworld all ripped apart to be a part of one human... if it still even deserved that title. It raised both it's hands, and spines shot at Sylvester, hitting him in the chest. He yelled in pain and dropped to the floor.

"...Hmm? That's it? for a man who got all the way here, you sure lack strength." The man was mocking Sylvester. Sylvester was effectively dead, and he knew it. He decided the only option was to take out whatever this thing was with his last breath.

He got up, and aimed his little finger at the creature. He shot a bolt of lightening, only this time it never stopped coming. The bolt was a link between Sylvester and the creature, and was Sylvester's final act. His eyes went out, and he dropped to the ground, looking up to see it walking towards him. His last thought was that he hadn't even taken out the one who ended his life on this plane.

Sorry folks, schools a ***** and I was hammering out a few details for another RP, although learning from my mistakes I'll be sure to keep a storyline for all to follow in that one. I must agree, it seems the aimlessness has killed Otherworld, thank you Azraellod for trying to establish a story in your last post but I doubt it save this sinking ship. I need to finish up the other RP I'm working on and after that I think I'll reboot this one with a actual story other than "Go here, do stuff."

Cheers mates,
FeralPhantom

P.S. that other RP should be done by tonight so look out for it
