I feel like I could be forgiven for the Max Payne one, but for Night of the Living Dead, there are SO many ones that sound similar that have all come out before I was born (Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead) Ok, some of those may have come out after I was born, but they certainly came out before I was old enough to enjoy them. So it's ok, right?

Having never played the FF series, the Halo series, or the Half Life series I had to guess (and was very lucky), and my computers slow as hell, so it took he 2 minutes 40 seconds, I feel ashamed of myself...

In light of your elected forum title... yes.

I'm really a zombie SURVIVAL specialist, and zombie archetype specialist, not a historical specialist.

In fact, no matter WHAT type of history it is, I suck at it.

But as someone with a zombie plan, the tools to execute that plan (unlike most "zombie plan posers") and an encyclopedic knowledge of zombie survival (kicked off by Max Brooks) I feel I still deserve the title.

Here's how you tell if someone is a zombie survival specialist, quote any post they have made, and say something about how in a zombie apocalypse you would use a shotgun, if they don't correct you and offer a realistic alternative, they are no specialist.

I think the word specialist implies much deeper knowledge than that. Sure it's a good preliminary question, but the real test is getting them to lay out their plan.

(I'd go with a .22 bolt-action. Light, not a lot of moving parts to maintain, and the ammo is everywhere. If you need heavier firepower, you're fucked anyway.)

I can't figure out why my lag always spikes when I'm taking timed tests with you guys. It's not really a problem when it comes to the personality tests.

Not that it really is going to matter directly to me, but what happens if the current times don't change, and positions 20-24 all have the same time?

Does just #20 get the badge, despite the fact that #21 through #24 applied just as much effort to reach the end result in the exact same time?

Do you change your reasoning, handing out badges to #21 through #24, even though you said you would only do the top 20?


It doesn't really concern me though. I'm 165 out of 404, so I'm gonna get one.

Well, I guess leaving for two minutes and watching somebody just kick somebody down to 21st is okay, but the question may still apply, especially since we're still only on day one, and there's still one to two mathematical time deviations that might imply this possibility I predict could come true.

I'm at 189 out of 469 now(originally 2 minutes after my first post)

Wow that was incrediable easy. Even with the questions that I wasn't that sure about the answers were either the correct one or an obviously wrong one. Some might trip people up if they have no idea (Max Payne and FF of the top of my head), but thankfully I got them all right. So right now I'm in 64th. I won't be in the top 20 but I probably won't be dropped down too much.

That's brilliant. I thought of trying that too but as I tried to get the Final Fantasy one wrong (I consider it a matter of pride being completely ignorant in all things FF) but got it right, I would have done exactly the same.

Damn this quiz for making me feel dirty.
