Ok, this has been on the back of my mind for days. What do you call somone who spends their time posting on forums. I used to call them trolls but then I realized that that meant something different. Now I can't think of anything to call us. What do you guys say?

I think troll is a pretty general term, with no one specific meaning. Like n00b.

Not quite.

A troll is someone who posts with the direct intent of starting controversy. Oddly enough, most of those whom argue the meaning of this are, in fact, trolls themselves.

I usually refer to people on forums as Forum-goers, Users, Guests, or on the offhand comment, denizens of site X.

Calling us all posters makes us sound like a bunch of pin-ups.

Which is why we must continue to use it.
Really? I never heard it used anywhere else before :p
It just springs to mind when I think of forum users :p
