k, the last time I brought up this topic, the results were less than inspiring.

"Dude, lets make a gun that, like, makes people inflate and then, like, explode...wicked. Duuude"

Disappointing to say the least.

- Think of something that takes skill and discretion to use.
- Think of things that you would not normally consider to be a weapon. (Money, Animals, Daisychain IEDs, Civilians, etc)
- Think of something that has moral implications.
- Think of a weapon that, in a video game, you would consider not using because you would have to ask yourself some difficult questions...

Even if you have to craft a game around these responses, I'd like to hear them.

A gun that when you hit a target it will take about 5 seconds take affect. then another 10 seconds to kill them but in that time they will stop and have a mental breakdown (and possibly have a heart attack {or fake one}). With his team mates rushing to help them. When s/he dies though they explode and then kill any unarmoured target near by. If a target is hit though there is a chance that they will be infected. However this infection can take anywhere between 5 seconds to 1 minute for the reactions to show.

Also the round will be a blue (or insert other random bright colour here) and will be a long stream like the teleport gun in UT2004 except it will be unaffected by gravity. It will also bounce off walls and can be detonated creating the same effect but every enemy that can detect sound will hear it. Face it then trace the stream.

Also the stream lasts for 5 seconds then will dissapate. The Idea is for it to be stealthy but also risky to use.

Is that better OP?

They're called things like 'nerve gas' and are horrible.
Yeah but I liked the Idea of the body physically exploding and potentially also killing everyone around him.

And it being like a dart (when not using alt fire) for stealthish gameplay

A sniper rifle but the rifles scope is actually a advanced calculation and positioning device that calculates wind speed, bullet weight, bullet speed, bullet trajectory, altitude, longitude, distance, target position, and the movement of the target and where it will be in the amount of time the bullet takes to reach it. The bullet is spun at different speeds in the chamber to help steer the bullet.

Now it doesn't just lock onto a target and still requires you to position yourself, take aim at where the snipers scope tells you, and take the time to allow the scope to calculate. There's always the chance the target moves in such a way the bullet fails to hit and it requires great accuracy to point the rifle and hit the point the scope wants you to.

That's basically just a brighter version of the poison from Assassin's Creed, except more OP.

Rat poison in the enemy water supply. Carbombs. Actually, bombs in general.

A terrorist game would be -really- fun, I think. It's too bad no one will ever make one for fear of the media outcry.

So kind of like the Mutator form Resistance 3? I mean it's no verbatim but it's pretty much the same idea right?

A rocket launcher, which fires at the rate of a machine gun and never has to be reloaded as the ammo is fed through a portal in the gun from a room containing almost unlimited amounts of rockets

Edit: Also it makes every cat within a 2mile radius spontaneously combust

How about one where every time you fire it, a little tiny mini 'splosion goes off inside the gun and it sends out little metal rain droppy things and it just shreds people to bits and tears their arms off, shit like that?

How about a gun that has to be fired backwards and only on Australian thursdays, but otherwise spurts poisonous pudding.

But if firing is successful, Hitler dies again.

A gun with a hinged barrel so you can fire round corners.
(ed. Damn it already exists)

A gun that fires ammo pick-ups.

A grow your own clone kit.

The Groovatron 9000.

The Swiss Army gun.
(ed. this one too!)

Don't know. I've never played resistance 3.

But it's good that somebody has made somthing similar at least.

Hmmm... I can see that but I want something that is fun to watch.

This so much this.

I liked that in far cry 2 but in a larger scale (and less going around in circles).

Also this adds a good question. We ALWAYS play the side of the "allies" why not play the other side for once. Now I know we sometimes do. But it hasn't really happened alot in the last couple of years especially in AAA games.

Cloning.

Ball-grabbing.

Now that the madlib is complete, let's see what we've got:

A dog that fires beams with precision accuracy when you grab its nuts. Upon impact, the beam makes an "evil twin" of the target materialize which then proceeds to engage the target in a fight to the death.

An aborted baby tied to a chain, when you hit your enemy with it it causes them to go into a deep depression and commit suicide. To get more ammo you have to find a rape victim, kill them then tear out the baby inside of them...
