I don't get the Valve fanboyism, but I'm not an FPS player so I guess I wouldn't. Still, I adore Portal, and I guess TF2 was entertaining for half an hour or so. The rest just ain't my thing. Before anyone starts, yes, I've played Half-Life 2, didn't really care for it.
So... on things I'm actually likely to play: we're onto Rockstar I guess. Yup. Any game they release will get hyped to the max and they'll get their nipples ripped off if it's not good.
I don't think Squeenix are particularly overrated these days - people really seemed to stop giving a shit 'round about the time they started fannying around with things like FFX-2 and FF12. Or maybe it was just me that stopped giving a shit and so don't take any notice if they're getting hyped? Neh. Either way, I finally got around to buying Infinite Undiscovery this weekend, haven't played it enough to know whether it's any good yet but I don't remember that getting any hype at all, I certainly didn't know of its existence until I saw it in a shop.
