Overload of great games!

I got a pretty good haul this Christmas. Skyrim, Dark Souls, Persona 2 Innocent Sin, and Zelda Skyward Sword.

I also went ahead and ordered Dungeons and Dragons Classic Anthology which was a mere 20 bucks. It includes:
Baldurs Gate 1+2 and expansions
Icewind Dale 1+2 and expansions
Planescape Torment
The Temple of Elemental Evil (never even heard of this one beforehand)

I was really excited to get this anthology and amazed at how much content there is for 20 bucks. These look to be some great WRPGs that I missed out on. I hear nothing but good things about Planescape Torment especially.

So far I've been glued to Skyrim above anything else. I played a few hours of Zelda and will likely continue that when I'm ready to give Skyrim a rest. I've got a lot of free time on my hands currently, but I feel this haul will keep me busy for months to come.

I got ME2 for Christmas, so last week I went on Steam and picked up ME1. Yeah, I'm really behind...anyway, I'm really liking it so far. I've never really played anything like it before, with so many choices which affect your future and reputation. I do have a couple of nitpicks, like how you can see the animations skip whenever dialog trees are panning out, how AWFUL the splash animations are when you run through water, and how annoying FemShep's voice is 98% of the time. I mean I understand she's an experienced marine and all, but that doesn't mean she ALWAYS has to sound as serious and dryly sarcastic as the entire cast of Law and Order: SVU.
