I use gamefly to get games that aren't good enough and/or aren't cheap enough and/or aren't long enough for me to just buy. So I was wondering if the 360 games Overlord and Overlord 2 were short enough to beat in less then two weeks (that's two weeks each). Also wether or not they were good, I've already done the research for price, and I could pick up both of them for around $20

They are both able to 100% fairly quickly.

And yes, $20 for both is quite worth it, I enjoyed them thoroughly.

I played Overlord one. It wasnt horrible but it wasnt great either. I would probably suggest rental over purchase. Pretty much it is "Okay minions everyone attack that" repeated until everything is dead. Sometimes tactics actually play into it but very rarely do they actually give you an advantge. The controls are too clunky to make any real use out of quick tactics and the minion AI leaves a bit to be desired.

Overall its not bad like I said. You pretty much get to play as Sauron and control assorted colors of imp. Plus you get to deck out your evil tower thing. Overall rental over purchase.

Steam did the entire series (including Overlord 2) late least year for like $10 or something incredible like that. I only played the first one a bit on the X-box (borrowed it) and wasn't too impressed, however I figured I'd eventually give it another shot.

I figure that if you wait you'll eventually get another shot to get them for cheap on Steam.
