Have you ever played a game with music thats EPIC, but doesnt fit?

plants v.s. zombies has a sweet soundtrack: however, its.. not epic. its plants and zombies featuring together in a cartoonish tower defense.

and also to WoW: its just SO boring, but the music sets a really good mood.

"Don't be Afraid" from Final Fantasy 8. It's an amazing theme that was sadly wasted on "Normal Battles". The same goes for "Blinded by Light" from FFXIII, but at least that gets cutscene glory.

Super Smash Bros

Most overblown, inappropriate and downright silly soundtrack I've ever heard for a game about cartoon characters fighting in various wacky themed settings. Latin chanting with a full orchestral score while Kirby fights Pikachu? Just doesn't mix. In fact it completely spoils the mood!

0[sup]2[/sup] from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. It's the final boss theme, it fits the mood of the fight, it gets stuck in your head, and it's an incredibly epic orchestral piece of music...from a Kirby game!

Its not from a game i know, but i still don't really understand it. The piano version of "those who fight". Its awesome, but it doesn't really work as battle music, and every time hear it, i hear it playing during battles in FF7.
