I need to certainly look into this game.

I also still find it both funny and sad that we can have games with gruesome murder, city scale genocide, chainsaw decapitations and even games that glorify wide spread state sponsored murder (ie: war) but the second you whip it out even if you're trying to insert some tangential learning into the mix then you're black listed and your game is officially too inappropriate for the masses and needs to be barred from sale.

Uhhmmm.

I can certainly tell what this is.

I can't however, decide if it's awesome or gross.... Maybe it's a bit of both.

Quite possibly one of the most bizarre and insane things I have ever seen, and given how many times I've looked into Japanese and 4chan-related objects that I shouldn't have, that's an achievement in itself.

... Want nao.

I'm not sure whether i should be laughing my face off, screaming in terror, or just staring blankly at my computer screen in completely bewildered silence.

I think i'll take the first one.

I need a cigarette.

And on a more serious note...

To those who say we need "less decency, more candour", I say: can't we have both? Isn't it possible to discuss so-called "taboo" subjects in a way that is frank but also not indecent? I don't think decency comes from the subject matter, it comes from the way it's portrayed. A comedy that satirises a subject like the holocaust or date rape is not the same as one that trivialises it.

And that's pretty much all I have to say on the subject. Yep, I'm spent.

I confess, the second i noticed the link offers the game for free [http://www.e4.com/game/privates.html] i clicked it, downloaded the game and played it.
It has bugs, minor flaws, but whatever, why should I care when it is free, kind of educative and FUN.

Just, the bitter irony, why is this game rejected for it's "explicit" content?! Our society thinks of itself so very concious about the "sex issue", but then again such things happen, pretty much proving the opposite. Why not being educated about sex by a nun - wait, someone already mentioned he_she was. Or the other extreme: porn, very many already are "educated" that way i guess, beats the nun, heh? So fucking ridicules, Privates should be involved in every sex education in school - in fact, I'll suggest this to my local board of education, they should even pay the developers/studio, instead of paying for licenses of bad "educational movies" from the last century.

You know what? Its a funny and engaging take on a topic that is all too often glossed over, avoided, or awkwardly fumbled by those in charge of educating the young'uns about sexual health. If it gets kids to understand the key points of safer sex, and harm reduction, I'm all for it. The fact that it's won a BAFTA (which puts it in the same league as shows like Top Gear ) is also rather impressive

From the trailer that looks like it could be both funny and fun to play. However, I can see why it gets blocked by MS.
