basically any game that gets a great score by reviewers (they're all noobs).
So games that get bad reviews are always good? I don't follow your logic. There's usually a reason that games get good reviews.
I never said that, games that get bad reviews usually suck as well. The majority of games that have come out in the last 3 years have been awful imo. Games that feature realism and graphics as selling points always get 9/10, 9.5/10, or 10/10 becuase in this day in age, game developers don't seem to care about gameplay anymore.

GTA4 got a 10/10 by gameinformer by it's more of a movie than a game. COD4 got a 10/10 but single player was ruined by it's god awful ending and multiplayer didn't have any remotely symmetrical maps(except for that one map that was slightly larger than shipment; if forgot the name). maps need symmtrical or one side will always be better then the other. MGS4 got a 10/10 but the cutscenes are so god damn long and... well you've seen the ZP reviews.

Star Wars KOTOR. I have tried playing that game 4 times and never has it interested me for over 2 hours.
Also, to a lesser extent, Elder Scrolls games. That was not so much a lack of interest though, but a limited amount of time to experience any of the games of that series to the point of where they are supposed to become fun.

I get it, your big strapping men, now stop overcompensating and get a real job.
Aw, and I do so love hearing your opinions every once in a while. Can we be second bestest friends?
Pretty much this.

I'll almost agree with the OP, but I did quite like Halo:CE, even if the other two were utter bilge.

You heathen.
Oddly enough, for all the times that I complain about KOTOR since I picked it up the year it came out, this is more hate that I have received for that opinion than I have ever received before.
Edit: sorry about the code error on the first post. Fixed.

Ok im just going to say it. GoW 2 and Halo 3.
Hey man, i totally agree on Halo 3. I found that game to be average, at best, and everyone acts like its a golden gift from god. It really irritates me.
People do the same with FF7 yet that game is a putrid apple.

Mainly a Europe thing but FIFAs get a lot of hype before releases. Loads of my friends say how great the next one will be before realising it is, in essence, just another football game.

I'm going to ignore my urge to defend CoD4 and focus on your point that reviewers give games good scores for no reason. Why exactly is that?

Halo series as a whole (just sort of meh, they aren't bad or anything) and (prepares for the storm) The Dark Knight. Good, no great movie, just won't be timeless.

Also the Legend of Zelda.

On the other hand, the search bar is very underrated.
I understand FF7, but I don't quite see LoZ being overrated. I've come across very few Zelda fanboys, and I have found the majority of games in the series to be -at the very least- solid games that diserve the majority of the ratings they get.

From what I've gathered, we can more or less condense all the FPS titles on that into list into "Halo and all its increasingly degenerate offspring".

So basically... anything new or good is overrated? Not that I've played all of these titles....

What do you play exactly?

Oh they are definitely good games. Just some of them are not deserving of the praise they get. I thought Twilight Princess was mediocre. I know most people don't even think of it as one the best Zelda games but I still think it gets to much praise. Especially when it comes to the story. The story was laughable.

I also found Ocarina of Time to be overrated. I never got into it that much. It wasn't the "best game ever" people made it out to be. Still a decent game though. I just thought Supermario 64 was far better.

I realise it's been said before but Halo, quite possibly the most over-rated game in history
