I dunno, man. Randy Pitchford could tell me the sky was blue and I'd probably look up to check. I get the feeling they're trying to make back cash from some questionable actions in the past that didn't quite pan out the way they'd hoped.

gearbox. just alone the name wants me to go postal. i can more or less understand why it wont be entirely free but not giving a discount is a kick in the nuts.
but its gearbox, so i will skip it. since actually the original still works just fine.

Not the same person but yeah, entered my MS login info and it logged me in and ran fine, it's been the same for every GFWL game I've played. Hell, Resident Evil ORC even let me and a friend play co-op. To the best of my understanding all GFWL shutting down did was bust multiplayer for games that used it for their servers.
Book a ticket to Reno or Vegas then, 'cause you're in the minority. For me and a whole lot other people, it fails to log into GFWL, no matter what the game.

Gearbox's debacle with Alien: Colonial Marines should be proof they can't be taken seriously. They basically stole Sega's money to fund their own project and delivered a subpar, broken game that was basically unplayable. And instead of that crap we could have gotten an Alien RPG that looked really cool but was canceled while Gearbox's excrement, I mean development, continued.

Randy Pitchford can stick this remaster in a part of his where the sun doesn't shine.
