They're both probably cheap in the bargain bin. I'll definately look into both of them, thanks.
If you do decide to get P3, make sure to check out P3:FES. That was the one with the expanded content, I believe.

I really want to get into the Persona series now. I keep hearing good things about it...
Actually i still paid around 30-40 euro i believe for my copies which i got a few months ago. Could just be me since they're hard to find around my parts

I wouldn't expect any gaint graphical leap if it is coming to PS3. Persona's one of those hardcore JRPG's that tend to just stay the same no matter what platform it's on. But it'll be in HD at least.

Good luck getting them cheap in a bargain bin; even the used ones for both games are pretty expensive where I am. A used P3 FES was the equivalent of $80USD and P4 used is around $40 US. The series is pretty popular.

And oooh, I'm excited that it's going to be PS3, mainly because I have a PS3. If it was 360, I'd have to cry because there'd be no way I could get it. I'm still holding out hope for a Lost Odyssey port, even though I know it'll probably never happen...

Interesting, been hoping they would continue the main line on the ps3 but I will not sniff at this. All I need to heard now is that they are going to convert persona 2 for the psp as well and I will be very happy.

I would recommend playing them both, however P3:FES should be played first. There a re a lot of little battle improvements and system improvements that would make the sift back hard, however overall I would say he plot for P3 is better. P4 might have a better paced plot overall and does attach you to the whole cast a little more but the ending of P3 is a lot better and Junpie has one of the best character arcs I have ever seen in a game. I would not count on them being cheep though atlus don't print that many games so they become fairly hard to get after a while, however P3 and P4 have not seen the price inflation some of the others have seen.

I've found P3:FES for $20 on amazon, and P4 for 40$. Since my sister said she'd buy me a game for my birthday, I can probably get P3:FES without digging too deep into her pockets :D
