It wouldn't be Sony, if they didn't make this completely complicated and expensive. Requiring the player to purchase a several piece of equipment, in order to play 5 low budget mediocre titles. Which Sony will promptly abandon after 1 year, because it hasn't made money in 2 months. You can't teach an old dog, new tricks. This is what Sony knows, this is what they will do. On that, you are Guaranteed.

With Move a customer would get a game + controller bundle and they're good to go. They don't have to make a huge investment immediately. Selling an all-in bundle for PS3 turned people off based on the high starting price.

Stupid consumers have taught them that it's to lie and say Move is cheap (plus extras) the way Nintendo and MS do with the way you need a controller and rechargable batteries and 2 add-ons per player you want to support, or how you can "save money" on a HDD-less console and then pay for online gaming, batteries, and god forbid you need a hard drive or wifi down the road.

So, Pachter once again believes that the masses are morons.
Well, they are, but that's besides the point.

Could somebody please gag this idiot already. The mere fact that somebody can make a comfortable living by either stating the blatantly obvious, or by drowning a hapless (and unwilling, like us here) audience in bullshit is beyond infuriating...

This Pachter dude's ability to state the obvious is astonishing. I predict his next prediction will be - 'Playstation Move games: Will likely be a wasteland of minigame shovelware'. And in a couple of years time - 'People fed up with flailing about to play video games. Return to couch.'
