I loved the first one, beautiful effect, nice fight, monsters and interesting characters.

I do hope we get a prequel at some point, doesn't have to be a movie. 30 Jaegers over a 12 year period, you got to be able to do something with that.

Why do I get a feeling that by twisting it around, it gonna be a Jeager gone mad/ mental (maybe a neuro link virus) and the human end up creating their own Kaju to fight it.
Either way I am looking forward to this given how much I LOVED that film!

Its been hinted before we might see a Kaiju/Jaeger hybrid, or at least building on the idea if drifting with a kaiju.

Could certainly do a tv series... perhaps animated (bonus points if they embrace their inspirations wholeheartedly and get it animated in japan)

There is a comicbook that served as the prequel, mainly telling the story after the first Kaiju appear which does show some of the past Jeagers and Kaijus too.
