We don't hate Batman. The Irish people and Batman just aren't on talking terms right now, we had a bit of an argument and it got out of hand; things were said that we didn't mean then he threw his baterangs... So yeah, we're still friends just on a cooling down break.

Brutal Legend and The New Super Mario Bros Wii I think are gonna be quite a bit higher than that, though I do feel that CoD:MW2 will take the top slot, for sheer expectation alone. The same is probably true for L4D2, but then, this isn't Ireland. I've got my own expectations (and most of that list I don't give a rat's ass about), so I'll see how they hold up after the data's in.

I'm surprised how low New Super Mario Bros Wii ranks, the previous one (the DS game, not Super Mario World) sold almost 20 million.

I don't think this is even legal in the U.S. but in Ireland and the U.K., they take their betting very seriously. And wagering on videogame sales isn't even close to as strange as it gets: Paddy Power has given odds on everything from the outcomes of various television shows to who Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi will insult next and even whether the Large Hadron Collider will eventually prove the existence of God. (I've got $50 on a cold, random universe in which we all die pointlessly and alone.)
