Good to hear, good to hear. It's a lovely little game, but the last thing we need right now is more mechanical franchise making. Having the courage to stop making something can be very important in itself. As well as the sense to understand when it's done, I suppose.

It'll be exciting to see what else might be on the hob, though. I wonder if Jorgi Costava will join us to cheer up our day in the next Lucas Pope-title?

I didn't really play Papers, Please, but I like the idea that the dev is going to do other things. The concept that something is a success, so let's pepper the market with sequels is too prevalent, and it seems it really wouldn't benefit the game itself.

Sense when is a game not getting made news, I could understand if he talked about a follow up and then changed his mind but until the next game from him is announced. Is game that was never planned on not getting released really worth reporting?
Since this entire industry seems to be built on sucking as many sequels as possible out of everything. Unfortunately, it's kind of become expected that if a new and interesting game is successful, we should do it again and again until it stops being those things. The fans don't tend to help things either, the Last of Us must have been on the shelves about 2 days before people were calling for a sequel.

Good to see him stick to his guns anyway. If his first attempt at a game can be this original and interesting, I'm sure his next one will be even better now that he has more experience and cash to invest.

In this day of 10 Call of Dutys and horse armor, it's OK to not have a sequel. Many people liked Papers Please, and as far as I know, it didn't end on a cliffhanger.
You criticizing Mojang for releasing updates to Minecraft that those owning the game will never ever have to pay extra for?
Um, what? I didn't realize that Minecraft specifically did horse armor.

Ummm, I think he's referring to the infamous Horse Armour DLC for Oblivion...

That's the one. Interesting story: I got the Knights of the Nine on a disc, so I actually have that lying around somewhere.

But we were all young back then, and no one knew what would happen when the cool kids started smoking DLC.
